2c) Two knuckle hinge

A sturdy design of dismountable forged "H" hinge.

The 'tail' of the knuckle is wrapped back under the fixing area, as can be seen in the lower image, and the central fastening on both door and jamb goes through both the plate and the tail, thus making the hinge considerably stronger.

Suitable for medium weight doors and situations where it is advantageous to be able to dismount the door easily.

The hot waxed finish shown is suitable for internal use; external ironmongery should be further protected if you do not wish it to rust. Please enquire when placing an order.
